now that the dust is settling | children’s photographer san luis obispo

not that the weather is a good measure of defining the season her in California:  blazing heat.  blustering rain.  foggy morning.  temperate evening.  repeat.  but in my spirit if can just FEEL the holiday season approach!  and as i’ve been busy finishing orders, packaging them up and sending them off to their new homes i’ve been looking back over the past year a bit nostalgically.   there have been so many sweet, new faces here at the studio…and so many gorgeous kiddos returning to show off their growth!   and it’s such a tender and precious gift to watch families grow, add new little people, and find new adventures together.

i feel so much like a schmuck for always promising to blog more…and not being able to keep up.   something about having a newborn and two big kiddos is at the root of it all…but in all honesty, i’ve wanted proofing and orders to be timely.   so the poor blog has suffered much this year.  the question of where to begin in showing the good, the great and the gorgeous is overwhelming, so i’m going to start with what’s on my desk at the moment.   one boy.  two years.  it’s just amazing to see how much they change in the blink of an eye!  a little older, a little wiser…and ever more handsome.  without further adieu, here’s Mr. C…the boy with the golden eyes.
