.your wedding day.

this just in:  my dear friend david pascolla just had his work featured in your wedding day magazine!  so cool!  david is a fabulous photographer, an awesome high school photography teacher, and one of the most amazing rock balancers i’ve met.  (well, he’s probably the ONLY rock balancer i’ve met, but the point is….) you need to see his website and blog.

and how excited was i to that the featured wedding was one that i second shot with him…and to see a few of my shots in this spread!

.malibu wedding.

okay…i finally have a blog post put together for this FABULOUS malibu wedding!  rita was such a gorgeous bride & ron a GQ fashion statement with the coolest shoes EVER!   and the venue, well it was magical:  the Inn of the Seventh Ray in Malibu canyon.  seriously, if you’re ever in southern cal, you’ve got to check this place out for a romantic dinner…you might even catch a fox or two frolicking near the stream below!  shot with my darling Jen, we had a blast hanging out with R&R and capturing their playful personalities…and all the amazing details of their wedding.  take a peak:

.kitty love.

i’m just wondering why we say ‘puppy love’ instead of ‘kitty love’.  both are so sweet and cuddly, right?  so, i’m feeling like i should just go ahead and use ‘kitty love’ and see if it takes off!

that said…this, ladies in and gentlemen is an example of TRUE LOVE.  i know, i’ve seen it with my very own eyes!  🙂

.love.

…and now, back to our feature presentation!

(can’t you just feel the breeze…the softness of the grass…the magic of the moment?!)

the new mrs. pierce is most likely dancing because she could finally take off her shoes!  mmmm…soft cool grass!

i was eyeballing these aspiring little photographers.  it’s not too early to start grooming them to become my future assistants!  i’m just sayin’….

.what began with a bet is now sealed with a vow.

that really has to be the most awesome way to describe your wedding day!  back in junior high, this little girl was bet a nickel that she would kiss a certain boy (i think that’s how the story goes).  now, twenty years later, these two AMAZING people are looking back on that day with a twinkle in their eyes!  i think i may not have cried more at my own wedding!!!  oh, so many pictures to share, but here’s the beginning of show and tell:

just before the ceremony…they held hands but didn’t sneak a peak.

apparently jim and shannon are the betting kind!

the muy guapo groom…

and the gorgeous, beaming, dancing bride!

 more pictures to come…
