over the holidays i had a chance to play with my little munchkins a bit…and by playing, i don’t mean taking pictures. this right here…this is torture! ‘ah mom…’, ‘can we be done yet?’, (ugly face)….yes, it’s total drama. 10 minutes and i’m completely over it…some children’s photographer i am!!! 🙂 i wouldn’t be able to get a shot if it weren’t for our beloved Sara. (love you girlie!)
so back to the playing, we managed to hit the slopes & sled in the snow just before new years. we built an entire Lego Police fortress complete with Semi-Rig Command Center, jail cells & little tiny Lego toilet paper rolls. also accomplished a 100 piece Dinosaur puzzle that glows in the dark, rode scooters and bikes. and broke in the new ATV (holy hot-rodding…the boys LOVE catching the wind!)
and speaking of wind, there was a contest in the maksoudian house last night to see who could eat the most cauliflower. do they love it? well, they like it…but once they found out that it ’caused wind’…namely toots…they just couldn’t get enough. go figure.
also recently discovered, the new candy store in downtown san luis obispo: Powells Sweet Shoppe. the first thing the boys picked out were the ‘Krank Pops’, strategically placed by the front door. when my brother called to see what we were doing, big brother said (quite frankly), ‘ oh, just doin’ some Krank Pop.’
sometimes is just hard to keep a straight face.
