with both parents in graphic design, this little angel will have no small advantage when it comes to style! dad called just days before little J’s arrival to see if there was a remote possibility of getting a session squeezed in at the last minute. and of course, as often as possible, i try to make it happen. 🙂
and how happy was i to find this tiny package…with a full set of gorgeous lashes and long hair!! in case you didn’t know, lashes and eyebrows usually emerge in the weeks following a babe’s arrival. and long hair, well it’s almost unheard of! anyways, little J was a dream…here’s a little sneak peek for mom and dad.

.i remember warmer days. california children’s photographer
…and dryer ones, too! in honor of our first storm of the season (what a doozy!!), i thought i would share the sweetest ‘lil grom-ette. (okay, i’ve probably made that word up…but you get it: ‘lil grom surfer + smurfette) but enough banter. the power is likely to go off at any minute. trees are down everywhere, the rain is coming down in sheets, and my yard is a small ocean.
so without further adieu, little miss K. taking after her daddy in sport…her mother in beauty. it’s been just about a year since i last captured this bundle of personality and smiles. and in just a few short months we’re all looking forward to meeting her new little brother!
sorry the posts are so short…i have so many favorites from each session and want to show them all. but in the spirit of consistent blogging, i’m going with the old adage: KISS.

happy birthday, little man! it’s been so fun to watch you grow this year. from the tiniest little babe–with the most beautiful hair–to the smiliest, huggy-est boy of all time. (mommy is going to have to bring you by so i can get my hug fix every so often!) i can’t wait to start hearing your words, see you chase after brother M, and watch you turn into a gorgeous big boy. xoxo

dear blog, i missed you! san luis obispo children’s photographer
goodness! the last thing i knew it was September…my birthday. a weekend at the Cayucos cottage with my boys. warm weather (make that HOT!). and fun times capturing the sweetest little faces with their mommies and daddies. the next thing i know, it’s almost the middle of October. and i’ve officially taken the longest blog holiday of all time!!!
thank you everyone who’ve called and emailed to check in on me–i’m alive and well, just busy busy busy with gorgeous newborns, babies and kiddos. i’ll try to do much better in the next few weeks showcasing my little friends. (but i can’t make any promises…we’re working ’round the clock these days!)
