If the fishing thing doesn’t work out for these guys, I’m confident that they could find work modeling for JCrew. 🙂
Ready, Set, Go! | California Children’s Photographer
As hard as I try to convince myself otherwise, the summer is over. Kids are back in school…or on their way at least. Lazy mornings and jammies ’til noon are a thing of the past. And while I should be grateful that daylight savings & back-to-school do not go hand in hand, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic that my own kiddlets are now another grade higher. (Which means, they’re growing way to fast!) Back in the day, I tried to take pictures of all their stages: Sitting, Standing, Walking, 1st day of preschool and…the end! For a few years I scarcely took any pictures of my children. (Really, they were so active, they would be but a streak across the frame.) If I’d continued on that path, I’d have had a gap between age 5 and 8th grade graduation! But in the past two years, I’ve found it so important to capture the grade school years. Not only is it fun, but it’s truly magical! It’s like, if you step back and observe, their personalities and interests expand before your very eyes…giving way to way-more-sophisticated little people than they had back in my day. 🙂 This beauty falls into that category. Sophisticated, stylish, and oh-so-sweet.

Sweet Dreams are Made Of These… | San Luis Obispo CA Newborn Photographer
…snuggly, sleepy baby girls. 🙂 It hardly seems possible that it was less than two years ago since I photographed this tiny bundle’s ‘big’ sister. Also on day 6, if I recall. To get to capture sweet girlie #2 was such an honor. Oh, how I adore this gorgeous family!

…played a daddy and his boy. And a new little angel was snuggled by her mommy…who then tickled the boy and peppered him with kisses!!! True story.
