seriously, this little smile makes me SO happy! tonight i was in heaven, playing with baby M. he’s on the ‘baby plan’ and his 6 month mini session was the end to such a perfect summer evening. (no it’s not summer yet, but temperatures topped 99 here on the Central Coast)

i just KNEW i was in heaven when i walked in to meet this little guy and he was dressed in Small Paul! really, everything about mister A–including his parents–is absolutely the incredible. so alert & so curious he endured countless outfit changes without so much as a fuss. here is a tiny little sneak peek…more to come!

all of my little blog friends on the East Coast are sending me funny notes about how GREEN and LUSH it looks in California right now. well, i must say….it is INCREDIBLE!!! we’ve had so much rain, which i love, and the hills are gorgeous right now. wildflowers are blooming. little springs are bubbling up. this is heaven. and it will last just another few weeks!!! funny thing about living on the Central Coast, spring comes early and then we get a bit more arid. 🙂
thankfully the skies opened up for little K’s 1 year pictures. i do believe this grass was almost as tall as he was. it crushed me to have to step in it and bend it over! but it sure made a nice soft little nestling spot for pictures. happy birthday, Mister K!!
