yes, i’m peeking out to say:  HAPPY THANKSGIVING!  you know what i’m thankful for?  the gorgeous babes, silly kiddos, and fun-loving parents who’ve made this year the most amazing ever!  seriously, i’m overwhelmed by the thank you cards & emails i’ve received this fall.  overwhelmed, i say!

as a photographer, it’s so fulfilling to get note after note that says, ‘i’ve  fallen in love with my children/family all over again through the process of these family pictures’.   as a person, i’m all fer klempt–absolutely touched–by the power of photography.  and as a parent myself, i totally relate.  how easy it is to be absorbed in the roles of teaching, orchestrating schedules, and taking care of your child’s needs.    then, looking at the images that capture their sweet personalities and funny attitudes of my munchkins…i, too, fall in love with my children all over again.

so thank you, to everyone who took the time to send an email or a handwritten note.   i’m so honored!

before i sign off for T-Day, i wanted also to let you know…due to the number of sessions this fall, i somehow managed to overwhelm the server and was without email for the past 24 hours.  it’s back up now and my inbox is slowly sifting in all the mail that was in exile for the last day or so.  if you have not heard from me by Friday afternoon, please don’t hesitate to call or send another note.  i don’t want to leave anyone hanging!

and with that, i hope everyone…from San Luis Obispo and the Central Coast, to Northern California & Sacramento, to the far reaches of LA and San Diego…has a wonderful and warm Thanksgiving Day.
