The Newest Little Sugar Plum | San Luis Obispo Newborn Photographer

Once upon a time, there was a blog.  And that blog was the one place to get updates and information.  But then some new social media sites arrived on the scene and the poor blog was left behind.  Until today when I decided, after many months of quiet,  to venture back and find my voice here once again.  I’m not promising to post every day, but as the schedule permits, to showcase the amazing little people who I am so blessed to capture.  Like this sweet little sugar plum!  It seems like yesterday that I was cradling her big sister in my arms.  If ever there was a baby adored, it’s this tiny girl…so in love are her big sisters!  And if mama’s face looks familiar, you’re right…it’s the original, talented, and beautiful Sugar Plum herself.  You can find here work HERE.  Until soon!       -L

Feast Your Eyes

Ever since they saw the movie BRAVE, my kids have been using this phrase.  Of course, I find it terribly funny when they try to sound Scottish.  That said, when I saw the beauty, the love and the amazing colors in these images, I couldn’t help but give it a go myself:  Feast your eyes!!!!

It’s always fun to shoot in homes that have a fun, hip style (…if not a bit humbling to find out that the decore has been all handmade.  Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing, ‘Sheesh!  How cool is that!?!’).   It should be no surprise then when I mention that this is the sweet family of the talented CAMERON INGALLS.  It seems like just yesterday that I would bump into Cameron and his ‘friend’ Anna around town.  I, with my little monkey-boys playing at my feet, had to be an entertaining sight to behold.  😉  Their friendship turned into love (which I knew it would!)…and now, it’s their turn.  Their turn to watch their boys grow, fall in love with eachother, become best friends…and partners in crime.   I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, brothers are best.   What an honor to capture the tender love of these boys…and their awesome parents.
